When soccer opened
hearts in a conflict zone
In a Central Asian nation still healing from historic conflict with a neighboring nation that’s predominantly Christian, four young men represent everything that should make the Gospel impossible to reach them:
They’re part of a radical Islamist movement. Their country now backs another Islamic nation in ongoing regional tensions. They’ve grown up viewing Christianity as the faith of their former enemies.
But they share something with young people everywhere: a passion for soccer.
When thousands of copies of Champions Book of Hope were distributed in their region, they found Champions speaks their language — celebrating teamwork, fair play, and athletic excellence while weaving in stories of soccer players who follow Jesus and Christ’s complete life story.
They read it. Then they showed up at the local church. Their first meeting with the pastor was contentious and argumentative.
But they were warmly welcomed and invited back. The second visit was different. They came with thoughtful questions that revealed careful attention to what they’d read. They wanted to understand more about Jesus.
Now they’ve committed to attending church services. It’s not complete transformation— yet. But it’s a breakthrough that seemed impossible just months ago, made possible by God’s Word presented in a way that captured their hearts. Thank you for sending God’s Word to show them the way to new life in Christ!

The Final Third Fast Facts
The Final Third refers to reaching the remaining one- third of the next generation that represents mission fulfillment for OneHope as part of Vision 2033.
At least one-third of the global youth population remains unreached with the Gospel.
OneHope strategically reaches the hard-to-reach through three areas:
- Unreached languages — with collaboration and innovative technologies
- Unreached people groups — with relationship- building and digital ministry
- Churchless communities — with church planting through evangelism of children and youth

Alma’s Story of Hope
Seven-year-old Alma had heard something wonderful from her friends in Argentina — there was a special Bible app just for kids, and a place called Sunday school where children could learn about God’s love. The little girl’s heart was captured. She went to her mother with an urgent request:
Could she please download the Bible App for Kids on her phone? And could she go to Sunday school, too? When her mother hesitated, Alma cried — not from sadness, but from a deep longing to discover more about Jesus.
Her mother’s heart was moved. She downloaded the Bible App for Kids that you help provide, and she took Alma to the local church’s Sunday school program supported by your partnership.
What happened next was beautiful to witness. As Alma absorbed the colorful Bible stories on the app and listened eagerly to the teachings at Sunday school, the Good News began transforming her young heart. But the change didn’t stop there.
Alma carried that joy home. She shared what she was learning with her family, her excitement infectious. Her mother, who had initially just been accommodating her daughter’s request, found herself listening more intently to the Sunday school teachings when she dropped Alma off.
Today, something remarkable has happened— the entire family gathers together to worship Jesus, all because one little girl’s hunger for God’s Word opened the door for His love to transform them all.
The Bible App for Kids shared God’s love with Alma — and her whole family!

Meet the McIvers: ONEMISSION COMMUNITY MEMBERS
David and Sherrie McIver have partnered with us for years to bring God’s Word to children all over the world. They are inaugural members of OneMission!
David McIver is the executive director for praiseFM radio, shepherding the ministry’s growth from one FM signal out of Osakis, Minnesota, to signals around the world. People worldwide can experience Jesus at praisefm.org.
Our partnership began when David heard Rob Hoskins speak. He was so moved by the sermon, he listened again and again! He asked the Lord, “What is this about?” And the Lord spoke clearly to him, saying praiseFM should offer prayer covering for OneHope. This happened at a time when OneHope’s leadership was praying for new prayer partners. God’s timing is perfect! Not long after, David and Sherrie began giving monthly and encouraging others to do the same.
He shares, “Sherrie and I love giving to OneHope because when they ask for your monthly support, it’s not about dollars and cents and budgets and strategies. They are thinking about lost children, and about the heart of their partners, who are giving a gift to the King, the One who came to seek and save the lost!”
David believes that giving every month is foundational and allows OneHope to respond: “When a door opens, they can say, ‘We can do it!’”
Thanks to the McIvers for their strong leadership and heart for the Gospel ministryof OneHope! Join them as OneMission partners today!

“I see hope now!”
HOW YOU HELPED SAVE HYUEN’S LIFE
She was drowning in grief and trauma.
Hyuen, a teenage girl in Vietnam, was mourning the death of her beloved mother when she narrowly escaped a sexual assault. With no one to turn to — she comes from a strongly Buddhist family — she kept her pain hidden and began to contemplate suicide.
That’s when God used your generosity to reach her. Through your support, our online Christian youth outreach in Vietnam connected with Hyuen at exactly the right moment. Over time, she opened up more. And though she was afraid to tell her family, she believed in the Gospel. She believed in Jesus.
She’s not yet able to share her new beliefs with her family — but she prays with our team, continues asking spiritual questions, and recently told us, “I finally see hope in my life now.”
This miracle is unfolding because you made it possible for us to be there when she needed someone most.

Busy or empty?
By OneHope President Rob Hoskins
A busy schedule doesn’t equal a full life. This is seen in the miracle of Jesus turning water into wine. As it happens, busyness and the process of turning water to wine have a lot more in common than you might think.
Let’s take a look at one of the key details of this story that is often overlooked: the vessels.
Jesus said to fill the vessels with water, but according to tradition, they would have first gone through this process:
- Emptied of debris, leaves, and cobwebs
- Purified to make them ready to receive water
- Filled with water
- Water/wine given to the guests
In the process of being busy for Jesus, sometimes our “vessel” gets full. However, we are not always full of Jesus. We collect debris — irritations, grumblings, unclean thoughts — and instead of gratefulness, we complain. All kinds of “garbage” and “debris” make their way into our vessel — then we step into our next activity with a quick prayer, “Lord, fill me so I can give out good things from You.”
We need to reverse the order and instead pray: “Empty me, Lord, so I can be full of You.” Psalm 139:23 says, “Search me, O God, and know my heart” (NKJV).
- Every day, do some “emptying.” Self-evaluate what may have accumulated in your vessel — attitudes, irritations, self-absorptions, secret sins— and empty them at the Master’s feet.
- Cleanse and purify: “Lord, take care of anything I didn’t have enough insight or courage to reveal. Cleanse me, purify me as only You can.”
- Be still. We can sit still, but stilling our minds is not an easy task.
It’s not easy to step out of your busy schedule, but it’s imperative to take time to inspect your vessel, go through the cleansing process, and allow Jesus to fill it. It’s the only way you will always be ready to be used to truly serve and minister to others.

NATION BY NATION

MEXICO
Laura had attended church for years, but she had never prayed for salvation. Then she attended a showing of our youth film, Rose, and she chose to dedicate her life to Christ!
CENTRAL ASIA
Nadira connected with an online missionary through a digital program you make possible. She asked: How do I overcome failure and have eternal life? She was overjoyed to hear that she could connect with Jesus through prayer and decided to follow Him, praying with the online missionary for salvation.
UKRAINE
Ministry in Ukraine is thriving! Our Superbook stories have been popular here since the 1990s. Several generations were raised on the stories in a post-Soviet atheistic culture when the Bible was despised and illegal. This generation of readers grew up and now have their own children. When we distribute copies of Superbook, we easily engage kids with the Gospel, and their parents recognize and have fond memories of it.

You reached
a young seeker
in a difficult
mission field
In a sensitive nation where following Jesus can come at great personal cost, one young man’s quiet, searching heart led to a miracle of faith — thanks to you!
Sofian was an atheist. But he wasn’t angry or closed off — he was hungry to understand the deeper meaning of life. His interest in philosophy stirred a simple, dangerous question: What if there really is a Creator?
That question led him to What If It’s True? — the digital outreach made possible with your generous support. Through videos, articles, and a real-time connection with a trained online missionary, Sofian’s search became a lifeline.
He read. He asked hard questions. He wrestled with truth. And in time, he came to believe that Jesus Christ is the one true God.
He prayed with our online missionary to receive Jesus and soon had his own Bible to read plus a connection to a local church where he is growing in God. Today, this young seeker is growing strong in his faith. He reads the Word, meets regularly with our missionary online, and attends his church. He’s even preparing for baptism.
This is what your giving makes possible. A young life has been transformed by the power of the Gospel. Quietly. Personally. Eternally.
Please keep praying for Sofian as he walks boldly into new life with Christ. And thank you for helping reach young people like him who are searching for truth — and finding Jesus.
