You offered her hope in Jesus — and she shared it with her family!
Lonely and sad — that was 11-year-old Genesis in Coatzacoalcos, Mexico.
“There were days when I didn’t find reasons to be happy, and in my heart there was a great emptiness that I didn’t know how to fill.”
Everything changed when she began attending our Superbook program at her local church.
Through the Bible stories, Genesis discovered God’s love and purpose for her life. “In one lesson, I discovered that Jesus wants me to have His joy and to live no longer in sadness,” she said.
As her faith grew, Genesis continued praying for her family — and soon, they too decided to follow Jesus. Today, their home is filled with joy and faith. Genesis helps in the dance ministry at church and at school, and she shares with her friends how Jesus transformed her heart and home.
Because of your generosity, children like Genesis are hearing about Jesus and leading their families to hope that lasts forever.

Zimbabwe: Kelly’s Story of Hope
In the midst of Zimbabwe’s challenging economic climate — where unemployment runs high and daily life requires resilience — 13-year-old Kelly is discovering both practical skills and spiritual truth through the Foundations for Farming program you made possible.
Before joining the program, farming was simply part of life in her community. But as she studied, Kelly began to see farming in a completely new way.
She says she learned “the deep connection between farming and spirituality,” especially how a farmer prepares the soil with care and attention. She saw a reflection of God’s love in that process: “Just as a farmer prepares the soil, God prepares our hearts, loving us and nurturing our growth.”
Through the program, Kelly also discovered that just as plants need consistent tending to flourish, her relationship with God grows through prayer, worship, and obedience. She says the lessons have taught her important truths — especially “the significance of respecting and obeying the elders” and the value of following God’s commandments.
Today, Kelly approaches both farming and faith with new purpose. The tools she’s learning will help her family thrive, while the message of Jesus’ love is shaping her character and guiding her future. Your support is helping young people like Kelly grow in both hope and confidence.

From Searching to Serving
Shanto loved the Hindu festivals and celebrations of his family’s culture, but felt that this was his tradition rather than truth.
Then he was invited to join OneHope’s Reach Circles — a small-group program where young people gather to explore the Bible, ask questions, and support one another. Through these times of learning and friendship, Shanto encountered the message of Jesus for the first time.
“I heard that Jesus Christ took my sins upon Himself, died on the cross, and offers eternal life to all who believe. That day, I decided to turn away from my old life and put my faith in Christ as my Redeemer and Lord,” he shared.
Shanto rapidly grew in faith, reading the Book of Hope and completing the Lead Today program. Now as part of his Reach Circle he organizes children’s camps, youth conferences, and social events that bring people together and open doors for Gospel conversations.
You reached him, now he is reaching others!

Malawi: A Church Renewed in Its Mission to Reach the Next Generation
In Malawi — a nation rich in community spirit yet challenged by poverty and limited youth resources — the Pentecostal International Church congregation longed for stronger ways to disciple their children.
Although the church included many young people, leaders struggled to find well-trained teachers and Bible-centered materials that could truly engage the next generation. Their children’s ministry had passion, but not the tools it needed.
Everything changed when the pastor attended a vision-casting meeting and first heard about OneHope. It was an answer to prayer. Through your generosity, he was able to receive and launch at his church the God’s Big Story program, which is a series of illustrated cards that shares stories that showcase the message of redemption and restoration.
And only two months later, the transfor-mation is unmistakable. Teachers now feel equipped and confident, and children are learning how “things came into existence and how things have been moving since creation.”
The pastor reports that the kids are not only connecting the cards, but also “connecting God’s plan for mankind.” Weekly engagement with Scripture is changing the atmosphere of the entire church.
Their gratitude is heartfelt: “We now see great change in both teachers and children. … Thanks, OneHope, for such a program.”
Because of your partnership and prayers, churches like this one in Malawi now have vibrant, biblical tools to disciple their children — and inspire future generations to follow Jesus.
Reaching Billions One at a Time
By OneHope President Rob Hoskins
Someone recently asked me whether, in OneHope’s earliest days, we ever imagined the ministry would one day touch the world.
To answer that, I couldn’t help but revisit the moment my dad first described the vision God gave him more than 35 years ago — a vision of children under attack from the enemy and the clear call to place God’s Word in their hands.
There was no step-by-step road map, only the conviction that we had to start. Our first invitation — sharing Scripture with schoolchildren in El Salvador — launched a journey we’ve continued ever since. We move forward one step of faith at a time, trusting God to open the right doors. Today, that same vision still guides OneHope: God’s Word. Every Child.
That’s why I was thrilled to join with longtime friend and partner Bobby Gruenewald, founder and CEO of YouVersion, late last year to celebrate a milestone few could have imagined — 1 billion installs of the YouVersion Family of Bible Apps.
What began as a bold experiment in 2007 has grown into one of the most influential tools for Scripture engagement in history.
Our partnership with YouVersion has been an essential part of that impact. Together, we created the Bible App for Kids, which now accounts for 148 million of those installs and is helping children ages 0-6 fall in love with God’s Word.
As those kids grow, the Kids Bible Experience — now 5 years old and serving over 16 million tweens — helps them develop a lifelong habit of daily Bible engagement.
These milestones aren’t just numbers — they represent children and families around the world encountering the Gospel. And none of this happens without you. Your generosity fuels partnerships like these, expands Scripture access globally, and helps us carry the vision forward, one step of faith at a time.

A Story that Feels Like Home
Daniel is only 6 years old, but he’s already lived through more upheaval than most children experience in a lifetime. He’s a Ukrainian refugee now living in the United States — far from everything familiar, learning a new language, carrying memories no child should have to bear.
Like so many young refugees, Daniel is navigating a confusing new world. He’s building a life in a strange land while holding onto fragments of the home he left behind — the extended family and friends still in Ukraine, the language that feels like comfort, the life that was interrupted by violence and war.
Because of your support, Daniel received something precious: Onward: Journey to the Light, a special edition of our Book of Hope created specifically for Ukrainian and Russian children like him. This isn’t just any Scripture book — it was designed to meet refugee children exactly where they are, helping them understand that every emotion they’re feeling is a gift from God, meant to lead them back to His unconditional love.
The book tells the Gospel story of Jesus, but it also follows Max and Emi — two refugee children whose struggles mirror Daniel’s own. Though Daniel can’t read yet, the story was read aloud to him, and from the very first page, he was completely captivated. When he heard Psalm 23 for the first time, his face lit up with a smile that said everything.
Before the visit ended, Daniel knew exactly what he wanted to do: take the book home so his parents could read it to him again and again — in his heart language, the language of home.
Your generosity gave Daniel more than a book. You gave him a story that sees him, understands him, and reminds him that Jesus walks with him — even in this strange new land.
