From duty to passion:YOUR GIFT OF LEAD TODAY TRANSFORMED HER LIFE AND FUTURE!

In the heart of a traditionally Islamic region, Mila’s story shines as a beacon of hope and transformation.

As a student at a secular teachers’ college, Mila felt disconnected from her faith and lacked passion in her pursuits. However, the Lead Today program you sent became the catalyst for profound change in her life.

Through this godly leadership initiative, Mila blossomed into a passionate, purpose-driven individual. She developed crucial skills in communication and learned to take initiative in ministering to children.

Lead Today instilled in Mila a deep sense of discipline and a renewed focus on prayer and trusting God.

Today, Mila is now equipped to impact countless young lives for Christ in a limited access, traditionally Islamic region where the Good News is so desperately needed!

Arisha’s story of hope: digital ministry leads her to salvation, discipleship

Your generosity transformed Arisha’s life through digital outreach.

Living in a majority-Muslim nation where traditional Christian ministry faces severe restrictions, Arisha found herself trapped in despair, believing she was a failure due to past struggles with mental and physical illnesses.

Through our Arabic-language online platform, she connected with an online missionary who shared Jesus’ message of grace and renewal.

Though initially resistant, insisting others were to blame for her pain, Arisha was stunned to learn about a God who could give her a fresh start.

“I experienced the most beautiful feeling of being confident in myself, seeing myself only through the eyes of the Lord,” Arisha shared after accepting Christ. “I’m happy now. I want to remain like this.”

Today, Arisha participates in our online discipleship groups, growing in her new faith despite living in a region where choosing to follow Jesus can carry serious risks.

Her transformation showcases how digital ministry breaks through barriers, reaching those who might never enter a church building or meet a Christian in person.

Your support makes these life-changing encounters possible, bringing hope to people like Arisha in limited access regions around the world.

In a majority-Muslim nation, you introduced Arisha to Jesus!

A Muslim child meets Jesus!

Pamir was growing up in a devout Muslim household in Togo, an African nation where Islam is on the march with radical Islamist terrorism increasing rapidly over the past few years.

Thankfully Pamir’s parents aren’t extremists, but they taught their children there is no God but Allah, who created everything.

Then you sent the Gospel in the form of God’s Big Story, illustrated cards that share the life story of Jesus and the major stories of the Bible with children who may not be able to read. Says Pamir:

“One of the cards caught my eye — a baby who had been born. I asked the instructor to tell us that story. When he said Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior and Creator of humanity, I stood up and declared that only Allah is the Savior!”

But the teacher went on to tell the story of Jesus as it fits into the Bible’s big story, and Pamir was moved by what he learned.

“It was the best day of my life,” he says today. “In addition to having given my life to the only Savior, Jesus Christ, I found the joy of beginning a new life.”

Pamir is 10 years old, and he asks that you pray for him and his family because they could suffer ostracism or persecution because of Pamir’s choice, but this threat does not deter him in following his newfound faith.

Thank you for sharing Jesus with him!

USA: American students are not left out!

New program disciples young people — helps them become evangelists wherever they are.

Together with OneHope, you’ve launched a groundbreaking program to transform how American teenagers share their faith in today’s digital world. The Telos Student Podcast, which debuted in late 2023, marked our strategic move to directly equip young Christian leaders for modern evangelism in the United States.

“On the podcast we’re interviewing Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha students alongside youth pastors from influential churches, highlighting teens who are sharing their faith in unique ways,” explains Team Leader Sam McCullough.

The podcast features inspiring stories like a story about Jordan, a high school wrestling captain from Oaks Church in Dallas, who is already leading middle school students to Jesus and baptizing them, and content creators from Elevation Youth who are using their digital platforms to share the Gospel.

The Telos Student Podcast is just the beginning. We’ll soon launch the Telos Students online platform where young people can access digital discipleship programs. The initial goal is to guide 15,000 students through this program by the end of the year, creating a web-based community of committed Christian teens equipped to reach their peers.

Recent research shows that 39% of U.S. teens identify as nonreligious, and 58% of Christian teens don’t feel responsible for sharing their faith, underscoring the urgency of this initiative.

“It’s not going to be the 36-year-old in skinny jeans reaching that 39% who won’t enter a church,” McCullough notes. “We want to mobilize Gen Z and Gen Alpha to reach their peers.”

Thank you for the support and prayers that make innovative new programs like this possible! You’re helping normalize Gospel conversations among American youth while maintaining OneHope’s global mission to share God’s Word with the next generation.

The importance of a thick Gospel

By OneHope President Rob Hoskins

We’ve all done it. Programmatically it makes perfect sense. We take something as complex as the Gospel and simplify it in an attempt to

discover the “formula” — the silver bullet — for effective ministry. Because if we can do that, we can easily follow and replicate the pattern to successfully create Christ followers anywhere. We don’t have bad intentions — in fact, we have good ones.

But there is great danger in this reductionist approach. We start to view a decision made and a prayer prayed as the endgame rather than the starting point for a lifetime of growing in Christ. We inventory the raised hands during altar calls and count the baptisms on a Sunday morning as proof of ministry fruitfulness.

But anytime you reduce something, it becomes thinner.

The faith of the next generation can’t be built on a cursory, thin introduction to the Gospel. A foundation that fails to plumb the deep well of understanding the Scriptures provide. When initial belief becomes transactional, instead of being based on a relationship with the inscrutable person of Jesus Christ, we risk inviting people to become nothing more than shallow, nominal Christians, whose faith has no bearing on life’s real problems and challenges.

A steady diet of milk will not nourish spiritual maturity. It will only produce a weak anemic faith (1 Cor. 3:2). “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing comes by the Word of God” (Rom. 10:17, NKJV).

Discipleship is a critical component to everything our team at OneHope develops. Every product, program, and outreach is intentionally designed to be done through the local church, where a new believer can be plugged in and begin to grow in their faith.

As individuals learn who God is and what He’s said and done for us, they understand what they need to do to become more like Christ. And with a thick Gospel forming a firm foundation, the believer will be able to withstand any attacks, storms, questions, or doubts that are sure to come as they live out their divine destiny.

Thea’s passion for serving and worshipping God was fading, and she lost her passion for attending church. Through our Lead Today training, God’s Word renewed her spirit. Now, transformed and energized, she is serving as a youth leader in her church and grateful to be involved!

The film you sent to her neighborhood transformed her understanding of Jesus’ unconditional love

In a small town in Honduras, 14-year-old Danesy discovered something extraordinary through our animated youth film Rose.

Like many young people, Danesy believed God’s love was conditional — that Jesus would turn away from those who made mistakes. But the story of a teenage motorcycle racer’s journey from recklessness to redemption opened her eyes to a profound truth.

“I realize that Jesus is always watching over us, no matter if we are on the path of good or if we are taking bad steps,” Danesy shared after receiving the Book of Hope and watching the film, Rose. The story’s pivotal motorcycle accident and Rose’s subsequent encounter with Jesus deeply resonated with Danesy, showing how God’s love persists even in our darkest moments.

Your support made this transformation possible. Through innovative animated storytelling that speaks the language of today’s youth, Rose connected with Danesy in a way traditional methods might not have. The film’s message of God’s unconditional love and constant presence cut through cultural barriers and teenage skepticism, planting seeds of faith that are already bearing fruit.

Danesy’s story is just one example of how your partnership is reaching the next generation. In an increasingly digital world, these animated films serve as powerful vehicles for God’s Word, meeting young people where they are with stories that mirror their own struggles and hopes.

Through your generosity, countless youth like Danesy are discovering that Jesus never turns away — He’s always watching, waiting, and ready to transform lives with His boundless love.
