This year, get God’s Word to 155 million children and youth like Neha
It’s a new year — and we have a new faith goal: our global partners believe this year we can reach 155,000,000 children and youth with the life-transforming power of God’s Word as you stand with them!
You’ll be sharing the truth with young people like seventh-grader Neha, who received the Book of Hope at school in her majority-Hindu nation. She was delighted by the book — especially when she read about Jesus’ healing touch since she suffered from an ear problem.
Spurred on by what she read in her Book of Hope, she visited a local church where she requested prayer for her ear — and was healed! Neha chose to follow Jesus as her Savior!
And that’s not all — she went home and shared with her family what had happened. Today her family all attends church with her, and a family member who lives in a nearby city has also decided to choose Jesus.
Your gift of God’s Word can transform individual lives and whole families! Thank you for joining with our global family in the faith goal of reaching 155 million more young people with the Good News this year.
• There are an estimated 2 billion children under the age of 14 in the world.1
• In 2025, it’s estimated that over 132 million babies will be born.2
• Developing leaders can ignite change not only in that person’s life but also in their family, community, and future generations, multiplying the impact far beyond the initial transformation.
• By faith, we will reach 155 million young people with God’s Word this year. That is more than the number of babies born this year!
Hope Finds Kenny: A Story of Belonging
In the bustling streets of Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic, 12-year-old Kenny once felt invisible. Surrounded by voices that labeled him “annoying” and “bad,” he lived with a deep sense of loneliness and rejection.
His world seemed dark, with no light of hope or understanding.
But everything changed when Kenny was invited to a OneHope kids Bible study — a moment that would redefine his understanding of love and self-worth. There, he heard a profound truth: God creates nothing imperfect, and He has a unique plan for every heart that feels alone.
Initially skeptical, Kenny was touched by the warmth of the group’s facilitator — a moment that felt like a divine embrace. For the first time, he heard words of affirmation: “God loves you, and you will never be alone.” Those words began to heal the wounds of rejection.
Today, Kenny has discovered his true identity. The church has become his sanctuary, a place of genuine love and acceptance. More than finding his own peace, he now dreams of sharing God’s love with other children who feel marginalized and forgotten.
Through the support of compassionate friends like you, Kenny’s story of transformation continues — proving that hope can bloom in the most unexpected places.
Kenny has discovered his true identity in Christ!

Why we plan for agility
By OneHope President Rob Hoskins
In the intricate tapestry of global mission work, every thread matters — every child reached, every local leader resourced, every Scripture shared becomes a potential catalyst for transformative change.
In the intricate tapestry of global mission work, every thread matters — every child reached, every local leader resourced, every Scripture shared becomes a potential catalyst for transformative change.
Just as a single raindrop can ripple across a pond, a carefully placed resource in one community can spark spiritual awakening that spreads far beyond its original context, touching lives in ways we might never fully comprehend.
Our mission isn’t about conquering continents, but about empowering local churches and organizations with the tools they need to speak hope directly into their own cultural landscapes. And this must be a nuanced effort that takes into account an ever-changing global youth culture.
The “butterfly effect” is a whimsical but mathematically rigorous (and experimentally proven) theorem showing that a butterfly flapping its wings in the Amazon rainforest can and sometimes does control the weather in Chicago a few weeks or months later.
The complex systems presently at play in regard to missions include market-globalization, migration, diaspora, urbanization, connectivity, and technological impact, to name a few. Each of these factors are highly unstable, unpredictably changing, and forcing us to try to strategize and “plan” in the midst of chaos.
This is why we have shifted to an adaptive plan with directives rather than a strategic plan with global objectives.
The world moves and ideas that were once good are not always good. –Dwight D. Eisenhower
In planning for the long-term, it’s the short-term steps, decisions, and our responses to the unpredictable “external” complexities constantly shifting the terrain of our journey.
The destination remains our true north — God’s Word. Every Child. doesn’t change. However, each step of the journey requires us to be willing and able to remain agile and adaptable to the unknowns and unpredictable variables we encounter along the way.

Japan: You gave Masuyo hope — and a new family mother
Thanks to your support of the OneHope digital outreach program O&Dan, lives are being transformed in Japan.
The program that young people find through social media ads has a title that relates to the Japanese word for cheerleader, and invokes a place where teens and college students can find encouragement and answers to their deepest spiritual questions.
Recently, a 17-year-old girl named Masuyo found hope and community through our online missionaries.
Struggling alone to finish school without family support, Masuyo reached out to one of our online missionaries. Through this connection, she was introduced to a local church with a ministry program tailored to her needs. This program focuses on self-help and providing resources to help individuals regain their footing.
Masuyo has since attended the church and engaged with both the ministry program and our online missionary. Your partnership and prayers bridged the gap between isolation and community for this young woman, offering her crucial support during a challenging time.
Her story shows the importance of digital outreach — and demonstrates how you’re making a real difference, connecting seekers like Masuyo with the help and hope they desperately need. Thank you for enabling us to extend Christ’s love in the digital age.
